got this one a while ago for pretty cheap and there are some obvious scars when theyre not covered up by foliage. At some point should I take a dremel to some of the bulging scar or should I be thinking in another direction maybe air layering I would ideally want to do it at the upward turn in the first picture and kind of remove the scar in the process.

I know im thinking ahead and prob cant do much now but just looking at long term plans.

Thanks

Sounds like a good idea.....

I like what you will be left with at the bottom!

This.
not because of the scar perhaps, but because the awkward "s" curves will be something you grow to dislike...

Yeah, don't waste time air layering..10-15 yeArs in the ground and forget about it.. The curves will soften as well as the scars ..

Plenty of time to buy more trees and get crazy with the nuts here!
