Fjord hopping in Norway

In Scandinavia for 10 days... train ride from Oslo to Flam then boat, bus and train ride to Bergen. Such a beautiful country ... gotta be lots of yamadori in them hills!

I should say “Norway is such a beautiful country!”. We spent one day in Denmark when we arrived- Copenhagen- then will finish with 5 days in Stockholm, Sweden for a conference my wife is speaking at.

Planning a trip in june. Any specific things which you recommend seeing? Our trip takes us from Oslo south and around the coast up to Stavanger, Bergen, and then down through the central part of the country past lillehammer back to Oslo.

My great great grandparents were from Grimstad.

Look into the "Norway in a Nutshell" tours. Basically, it's a train/bus/boat ride from Oslo to Bergen and back. You can do it all in one day or break it up and stay somewhere along the way. The train ride into the mountains and boat ride through the fjords were truly amazing.
