Hello and thanks in advance for any help you can offer. I dug up two Florida maples from a pond near by. I have had these guys in pre-bonsai pots for a little over a year. They have been doing fine but all of a sudden they are getting a ton of brown in their leaves and some leaves are even black. Like. Disintegrate in you band and crumble to nothing, Black. I haven’t changed where the are. Typically full morning sun and then shade in afternoon. I did set up a drip line system that waters for 10 minutes each day.

any ideas what the issue could be?

Black is fungal. Remove affected leaves and spray with fungicide once every few days until you see unaffected, healthy new growth

Thank you! How about the brown leaves? Would you say it’s the same issue or something else?

Thats drought damage, for one reason or another the plant lost more water than it could take up. Maybe you missed a watering.
