My two (out of perhaps twenty) Kingsville boxwoods decided to bloom, starting towards end of January. White blooms are about ¼” in diameter. Most of the flowers appear at the tips of branchlets, but a few look like back-budding at the trunk, or branches. I’m surprised, because it happened before, but only on the same two plants. Is it normal event? I’m located in Victoria, BC. I’d appreciate some comments on this. Thanks to all.

I have never had a kingsville bloom, so I’m no help.

I have maybe 5-7 kingsville boxwoods, and maybe 25 rooted cuttings from the mother plants.

Thanks
