This is a crab apple I bought from Brent last june. I believe it was in the 2 and half inch pot. It actually put out flowers this year. I know they need to be removed, so the tree can grow. I just wanted to see how they were going to look. Its in a pond basket now, I may plant it in the yard for awhile.

Funny- I'm doing almost exactly the same thing. I bought a Radiant and the other I believe is an Indian Magic from him last year and they need to be cut back to allow lower growth to push hard but I can't bring myself to do it until they bloom. I want to work on developing the trees but man do I also love to see those blooms starting to push.

Cutting grown crabapples rock.
