Can someone please help me ID these flowers? We got some cut flowers of this type and this is them after a week and a half! Really nice. Almost looks like an azeala flower. Check out pics.

Maybe some type of lily..?

Looks like lilies to me too. Awesome they last so long too! I just saw some roses for sale the other day online that claim they last for a year or more, and yet are real live roses? They were around $500 give or take depending on the arrangement, I think they had some sort of French name?

Anyway, These beauts here are stargazer lilies, some of the most fragrant and beautiful flowers IMO. They have yet to bloom this year, these pics are actually from the Fourth of July last year. Bought them at Lowe’s for my mother, they soon there after died from being inside and yet last year surprised me after I neglected them not anticipating them to make it.

An azalea called "astronaut", don't know if it is a satsuki, but it blooms at the right time. The flowers are huge, white, pink, and white with stripes.

Damn nice "random" flowers. My hydrangeas are just leaving out well. Illinois sucks.

John those Hydrangea are incredible! I assume those are the ones you propagated that you were telling me the story about?

By the way, almost all the cuttings you gave me in feb are rooted now, have been transferred to new pots and are just starting to grow.

@RobertB the guess at Alstroemeria by @my nellie seems correct to me.

Alstroemeria is a genus related to lilies, but native to Andes Mountains. Most come from high enough elevation that they are hardy through zone 8, some possibly into warmer parts of zone 7. There are adverts out for new Alstroemeria hybrids hardy to zone 5, but I have tried one or two, and their alleged hardiness is not sufficient to survive zone 5b. they tend to have a very tall leafy stem, you might have to stake them upright in the garden.

Leo thank you for the response. I cannot really find them. Was wanting to buy some bulbs online but couldn't really find any. Maybe its easier to find these in fall and winter.

Robert, try this link: https://www.mzbulb.com/C/11/Alstroemeria , haven't ordered from them, just a Google search.

I am glad the cuttings took! If you need some more, you are welcomed to them. The hydrangea is from the ones that I rooted from my wife's wedding bouquet.
