My father was a printer and held Ben Franklin in high esteem. My grandson is named Benjamin. It took 3 tries to get one to live here instead of the deep south, but here it is in its 4th year...

This week is also the start of wisteria flowering season here.

This one grown from seed. Flowers are quite pale.

Don't forget that wisteria take years to mature and flower when grown from see.d This one was around 7 years old before the first flower. My other wisteria bonsai was close to 20 before it flowered for the first time. Cutting grown plants do not develop the fat trunk base but will flower at 1-2 years.

'Double Dragon' has the first flowers opening on a trellis in the garden
