With this un-Belgian summer we're having this year, no rain in 2 months and temperatures constantly around or above 30°C/86°F, all trees demand a little extra care. My JBP seedlings however are loving it.
So far 5 of the 72 cuttings didn't make it but the rest seems to be doing ok. Some a little better than other which is normal I suppose.
My table with JBP seedlings, the cuttings are in the first 2 big black trays. Non-cuttings are in the back.
A few trays with seedlings I didn't cut. I put some of them in their own nursery container. I will keep those last ones together with the ones in the smallest tray (mikawa seedlings). The rest of them I'm giving away to anyone who'll have them.
And a close-up of some of the cuttings. Not very big yet but they're getting there
