the $1800 one!

Lol..."I thought someone erased some of an 800 number on the pot"...
But that was the price!

No seriously.....

I think that could sell to closer to $2500 styled. With about $100 added every year after for three years...then $3,500 when it gets into one of those bathtubs Vance had in the 4th year!

Style it on a video!

Sorce
Let’s see this $1800 mugo.

Tomorrow if it don't rain and I can't get a picture., Just in case no one has figured it out, I really didn't want to sell this tree and the price tag was what it would take to pry it out of my hands,--maybe.

I can understand that! I hate selling my trees! Even ones I buy with the intent on reselling!

the Dragon and Porky have acquired too many awards
Maybe they should retire.
Somewhere to the north where the winters are long and the summers cool?
I know of such a place like that.

The powers that be would just insist that they were included in the show.

Our club show is judged each year by Kathy Shaner and she encourages past award-winning trees to be displayed along with their earned accolades, as “exhibition only”. This encourages new competition alongside trees that are viewer favorites.

Just saw this thread. Posted my photos in another. Damn I missed sorce! Vance tried to sell me an $1800 mugo. I picked up an old book and pot. Here was a really great bald cypress that John Wall brought up that I actually should have bought in hindsight. He had some cool collected ponderosa too.

Good show. Ann Arbor at end of month. Great trees from the collection at the garden, and there will be some top notch private collection pieces.

I cropped it out of another picture.
Not a great picture but it's all I got.View attachment 206782

Here's the tree from about ten years ago. As soon as I don't have 2,000 people asking me for this that and something else I'll see if I can't get better shots. I plan on my student and I starting to work on it soon.

That’s a dinosaur trunk. Complete with scales and everything.
