So for my shohin Broadleaf I’m gonna be using Japanese Beautyberry(Callicarpa Japonica). If you don’t know what Japanese Beautyberry is it is a shrub that has bright purple berrys . The berries can stay until middle winter so it’s cool when the leaves already fell off . I can’t wait to start these !

I have about 13 rooted cuttings in total. Not many changes are gonna happen this year but next year I’m gonna be repotting all of them and then wiring up them with twists and turns . Some I will leave alone and let grow also . More cuttings are gonna be made in the future!

I have separated them in all little pots . Sure the majority of pots I have them in right now is a little small but next growing season is just gonna be wiring them with movement . Then after I will most likely up pot them up to speed up growth . So here’s some pictures of a few

So tonight I did a little test trial on two of the seedlings . Wired them up and ended up pruning them back . I believe the upper parts ended up dying cause they snapped with no green in them . If anyone has tips for better wiring I would love to hear !

Mistakes Happen
From using tiny pots and wiring them up I have destroyed all of them accept one. Now this year I have plenty and plenty of them . Around 40-100. In this picture there is 43 but I have atleast 10 more there now and a stock of 10-30 more . But I will be growing these out in way bigger containers
