Snakes ( and reptiles in general) are cool. I spent my summers catching snakes and frogs when I wasn't fishing the local ponds. It was definitely the beginning of my love and fascination with nature and everything that represents. Whether it was a PO'd water snake as thick as my bicep or a huge willow that had fallen into the pond during a winter storm but continued to live and grow, I was captivated. It's funny...I've lived in GA for almost 4 years now and I'm still hoping to have a big old black rat snake start hanging out in my yard...no luck yet.
Dario, I can understand your fear of snakes. But remember, they are ALWAYS more afraid of you and would much rather never interact with you, either. If you can, live and let live...the world is a better place with things like snakes in it.
