Does anyone recognise this? Looks like some kind of fruiting body of a fungus...
In Spring I had some trouble with spider mites on a couple of trees. They weren't doing so well! I thought I had it under control, but the damage is still visible. Now I've just discovered these white things on some of my Japanese larches, beech, one juniper and this pine...

They could be insect eggs as well.
The looks don't give me a fungi vibe, and the fact that all trees have it suggests it's not a fungus. Fungi are highly specialized organisms, making fruiting bodies like these usually happens in decomposed soil layers and not on live material.
