This is a song I "studied" with my kids when I was a teacher :


I'm retired now, I have no activity as a unionist any longer - I still contrubute financially to my union, but I don't have the peps to get involved any more I'm afraid, and anyway, let the young ones take over.

In 1966, I was 11 years old. I remember this song. I still can't sing it, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Yiddish -oy we!- are easy, but click-languages (like Asian 5-tones languages) are so hard. A kind of jewel you can't imitate :


Ain't that more than 50-yr-old song "funky" ? :cool:

Because I'm tired and sore as hell from doing yard work in a yard she won't let me in, and it's a quarter after 2:00 AM.
