So far so good. out of the original 20 seeds I planted, I got 10 to germinate and all 10 are still alive. I did snip the roots awhile back and a couple of the seedlings have a fairly yellowish stem. Not sure if they are dieing or if its normal color change for pine seedlings.
I finally got around to soaking my remaining seed, after their chill period it should be consistently warm enough to plant them outside.
Still not sure if I will sow directly in the ground or in seed trays. Being that I live in a rural area, I do get wild pines occasionally popping up in the flower beds. I wouldn't want one of them to get mixed in with the JBP.
