What is your reaction to this Juniper.? It is a Home Depot purchase, called Juniperus chinensis "Plumosa Aurea". I am working on styling it and I rather like it in the blue pot. It is not your typical bonsai, that is for sure.
Other than being in a glazed cascade pot, I like it.
Bottom left branch is sacrificial I hope.
I would begin by cleaning under growth, now is good time.
Nebari and trunk look promising too

Yes, the pot was just one that was available and big enough for the root ball from the nursery pot. I will consider takiing that left bottom branch off and see what that looks like. Thanks for the suggestions.

Put a pillow case or thin cloth over it, and see. Take a pic and look at the picture. It is not as much a bar branch as the one over it, but that 1st right branch is in a perfect location.
Consider alternating branches when you're putting a cloth over them (2 branches).

I had been thinking of removing that branch and making a jin out of the stub. I did already jin one branch that came off of that one. It looks ok with a white cover to hide it.
