Does anyone have any experience with ginkgo bilobas? I am wondering if they need to go through a cold stratification process?

Yes, if I recall, collect fallen fruit in fall. Soak seeds (smelly flesh removed) in hot water overnight, then wrap them in a paper towel inside a sealed ziplock bag in the fridge for a couple months over the winter. The root cuticle should begin to emerge, then sow in the spring.
