Yet another Home Depot grab.
Little ginseng ficus in 6” pot.
Going to see if I can cut almost all of the tubes off and make a big cutting out of the top. 62291330-AF7D-4A41-A735-70D9403FAFF1.jpegBFBF866C-4715-4EE5-AED3-BAE0E3AC4ED0.jpegMade the horizontal cut.B786DE8C-487C-4E6F-B29C-06E7C9B374C5.jpegD5C045BC-84C7-4E74-AECE-ACE1C660906E.jpegsoaked it in a rooting hormone slurry then potted it up in a coir/pumice mix.CD3A907D-8BE8-4D5A-B8F7-CF0A0937F87B.jpeg99DC4086-BF5A-4C73-9571-37CFD5009C12.jpeg4D5631D1-EDF0-42C8-9D42-6BE715983A38.jpegwe will see.

Carol, did you remove top foliage when you made the chop?
I’m wondering if all the foliage will die off from the lack of roots, or if the foliage is better left on, to generate food for root production?

I trimmed it back some but didn't cut it all off.

Rootstock is looking like sweet potatoes.
Top seems to be ok for now. 78EF4A80-9FE1-4410-8B6F-D77218505C54.jpeg2C8EBEBE-3919-413D-92C4-E85EC19534C7.jpeg
