So I posted regarding the grafted ficus in April of 21 and I ended up chopping 5" above the ginseng. The other ginseng I got roughly the same time and the trunk has grown at a ridiculous rate roughly double the size when I got it February of 21 while the grafted has basically stayed the same. I chopped the tree and despite pruning it basically turned into the same shape it was before I chopped. Suggestions for both? Last pic is from my post last year.

Maybe consider putting them in a bigger container? They really explode in growth if you give the roots room. I've had pretty good results with planting in pond baskets. Can get messy when indoors but that's what trays are for.

ATM she's in a 1 gallon container and I made pond baskets for literally every other tree I have so they could air prune.

Maybe for future reference: If you post in the same thread as before, it is easier for people to follow.

I have a hard time understanding which is what now.
