i got an A in research and statistics I and II and understand concepts of validity and reliability
So then you understand that predicting the reliability of a vastly variable weather pattern is not a valid argument.

i understand the track record or frequency rate of successful gov ventures, and its poor. and the frequency rate of tears thrown at one guy in our country compared to him coming out on top of everything, and its strong for him.

Again, no validity. Neither political wrangling nor DT have anything to do with climate change.

I just love how you disagree with things I said above about taxing the richest and leaving the middle class as is and yet that’s exactly what you’re concerned about.

Weird world we live in where righties are so right they are lefty and lefties are so left they’re righty.

I wonder if everybody filled in a form simply agreeing or disagreeing with various statements, which side of the fence they’d land on.

The problem with that is there are more stupid people than smart people so the results are skewed towards dumb answers.

There seems to be a lot of “I know you are, but what am I?”-style Tomfoolery flyin’ around here!

The altercations ARE interesting to read, though.

So keep it up! And watch your heads... lots of crap flying around.

🤣🤣🤣

Wow. That’s pretty smart for a dumbass! ;)

I agree, but that’s the point of democracy. I think we’ve hit our zenith though. The world is becoming full of over qualified idiots who can wave a rubber stamped piece of paper around yet barely know their arse from their elbow.

You don't have a democracy, and neither does the USA. We have a Republic which exists specifically to thwart majority rule which has always failed throughout history because eventually the majority figures out that they can do anything they want just by outvoting the opposition. Republics protect minorities.

Huh? So many contradictions.

Life's not just about money. It's about quality too.

The thing people complain about the most in my country, is the weather. I think that says a lot about their quality of life.

Don't mistake collectivism for socialism.

I would recommend exploring the coalition model used in Belgium and the Netherlands, which is much more democratic. Tightly linked to the poldermodel of governance and decision making developed in the Netherlands.

I never did study any of this at school or anywhere else, but here’s what I’ve gleaned in very basic terms;

Capitalism - A society where the individual is prioritised. People are masters of their own destiny, if they have enough money. Greed is encouraged.

Socialism - Society where basic necessities are state funded. Food, water, shelter, health, power are provided by the state, the rest is up to the individual. Success is encouraged, greed is prohibited.

Collectivism - The needs of the group are prioritised over the individuals within. No one individual should have more, or less than any other.

Communism - The state is prioritised over all else. The people work to improve the state and rulers of such.

This is just how I have translated the definitions. I could be wrong.
