I was at a yard sale today and there was a beautiful Japanese Maple that I was admiring.... I ducked down and looked at the trunk and the lady asked me what did I see.....I told her I do Bonsai was was just looking at the trunk....She asked me if I liked Maples and she walked me around the corner of her house and pulled this domestic maple up and handed it to me. It has great taper but huge leaves.....It was free so I potted it up when I got home.
