Kaoru Ito pot. Potter name "Bunzan". He is currently retired. From the Fukui prefecture on Honshu Island. Pots from here are called Echizen yaki. This was not made on a pottery wheel. You can see the impressions of the artists fingers all along the pot.
Yeah, well, I'm not sure if I got all of that right.
I got this in Denver on Saturday night at the ABS banquet. It was on the silent auction table. Final price was EMBARASSINGLY low. Good God but this is a gorgeous little pot. 14.5cm x 13.5cm x 4.5cm

Well, okay, I'm making the same "scored some pot" joke as I did before, but I'll be damned if there isn't a great deal of pot to be scored in Denver. Colfax Street seems to be the place to go. I don't partake of the Devil's lettuce, and I won't judge.
