Thanks guys, i keep coming up with crazy new idea's all the time :p

p.s.: This sketch website looks very promising, first time i used it but i can recommend it right away (no uploads and easy to edit, even saw an option to import jpg photo's.).

It would be very hard to get both sides of the tree's cambium layers to line up.

Instead, consider splitting the trunk up from the bottom, inserting a wooden wedge to hold the tree open wider at the bottom, apply cut paste to promote healing, then wrapping with grafting tape to prevent swelling.

Sounds ok, i will look into that.
