Graydon,
Nice come back. I understand what you mean. You get what you pay for. I guess? I want to thank you for taking the time to stir me in the right direction. I know just like anything else it is to each his own.

Thanks again my man

Oops!

Grafting knives bounce when they are dropped on to a concrete surface. The blades also chip and shatter fairly well. Photos attached are from a couple of days ago. I use them in woodworking as well (being a multi tasker fan) and was on my way across the shop when I accidently tipped them upside down in the case. One slid out of the case, fell and *ping* bounced right up at me.

Oh well. Time to stone out the ding and start again.

Be careful with the edges if you use the Japanese made ones. That steel sure is brittle.

the good thing about being left handed (I am as well) is that the "left handed" blades are more expensive, so lefties get the cheaper blade, as most "left handed" blades (used by right handed people) are more expensive.

Just a thought :D
