I am very new to bonsai. Starting researching in earnest about the last month. In this time I bought Ficus Benjamina and Carmona Fukien Tea bonsai starter because I wanted some that could be indoors all the time. I repotted both in larger bots because both are about 6” and I would like them around 12”. Currently they are in a south facing window (the only one in my house) however my 1 year old keeps bothering them so I plan to move them to the basement. I’m curious as to what kind of grow light set up I will need. One room would have a west facing window and the other option has no windows. My other concern is temperature since our house is usually around 70-72 F for winter so it will be considerably colder in the winter down in the basement. I’m hoping the light gives off enough heat to keep the plants around 70 F. Any advice is very much appreciated!

This a good windowsill light…..veg & blue will keep everything close…..non flowering lamp though…..can add a red suppliment to flower initiate anything….they have them too.

I grow all my indoor with hlg……Pines can grow under these…and are energy efficient…and last for a decade at least?
