hi peeps?
this might prove to become a very valuable thread if we work a bit together . Anyways been reading a lot lately and browsing a lot on internet yet i never seem to find any specifics on growth rates for trees (and believe me i know it can be situational but this is more to get a general idea).
Anyway so i was thinking bout getting some help from everyone who's interested in this project.
to keep this thread clean and to the point please use following fill out form:
species: if possible latin name
substrate:
method: open field/grow box/...
girth gained: list timeframe from when data is collected.
ex.:
species: Acer Palmatum
substrate: native soil (if possible detail of your native soil: f.ex.:loam/clay/sand) enriched with hydroculture substrate
method: open field
girth gained: 0,5 cm from 01-02-09 - 01-02-10
seems like fun and very informative information, I'm already keeping info on all of my trees mostly Acer and Satsuki's.
greets jona.
