I finally (I think) have a successful cutting of a Gumbo Limbo Tree. I got a shoot!

My questions are:

1.) When can I take it out of the perlite/peat moss mix and move it into a better mix of soil? Should I wait a month or two? Im afraid if I pull it out now I might jack up any fragile roots that have formed.
2.) It's been in the shade for a few weeks. Can I give it some sun now even if I dont re-pot?

Im only now starting to be successful with cuttings after all the research Ive done but cant find much about after the fact...

Thanks!
