I started a sumac forest from seed this year. I'm hoping for the fall color extravaganza.

We have one up at the weyerhauser collection. A look of literati about 3 1/2 foot tall with growth on the top end only. sets in a "wobbly" pot. very kool

I was curious because we have at least 50 larger specimens in our wooded area. Seems to me it will be a good idea to chop and collect a few to take along when we move. I agree they look awesome in the fall :D

Peter warren displays a sumac forest and seems to enjoy them for their fall color.

Tough question is I have a LOT of them here wide base - I know I can take the 4 trunk Doug fir but if I take (collect) the Sumac - Do they bud back, etc....
