Help! Early fall pruning a bit too early…

I made the mistake of doing quick profile prune on one of my mulberry pre-bonsai last week and this week I noticed that I have swelling buds on several branches. With where I am at (zone 6a) I believe I have a little over a month until first frost. Should I let these buds grow out? Should I prune them off? I want to try to avoid draining this tree of its energy stores as much as possible… Those who have made the same mistake as me, how did your trees react throughout fall/ the following spring?

Mulberry can survive a nuclear bomb. It'll survive regardless.

Just leaf it alone (pun intended). Even Zone 6a you've got plenty of time left.
