I have a 12" high chinese elm in a plastic pot that I want to transplant into a proper oval pot. For correct proportion I believe I need about an 8" oval pot +- .25". I'm having difficulty finding an oval pot in that dimension though. I'm also trying to find about a 2" depth to match the trunk width.

I was going to go with a brown unglazed pot. If I went glazed, what colors would be appropriate for a chinese elm?

Ichigo, Try here item R33 in the oval section for a brown glazed pot 8.75 x 2 just a tad over your size limit.

Also I have some pots I have yet to post because of the shows. So your getting a sneak preview before their online debut. Both these hand built pots are 8 x 2 and have color. I personally think the gray one would look splendid with an elm.

Good luck with your search. :)

The R59 style is what I had in mind, but I can't find that in the dimensions I want anywhere. The gray one would also work nicely. Let me know when it is available.
