I believe my green maple has some sort on fungal disease, there’s probably not much I can do about it now I just want to confirm it so I can keep it away from my other trees.

Have you been having some heat in TX? In warm climates morning sun until about 11 am only with JMs. Kind of looks like leaf scorch. I’m in Southern CA. All of the maples in my hood that get full sun all day look exactly like that.

Yea we have, we also had really wet cooler than normal weather for a few weeks before this. I’ll put it in a more shaded area and see how it does. Thanks

Heat is the main culprit. Depending on the Japanese maple variety you have, you will find they enjoy shade after 11 am during the most intense part of summer. It is difficult to get the leaves to look nice by the end of summer.
