I got this off Craigslist. the guy didn't know what the tree was. it didn't look like the juniper people sell on the side of the road here in austin.. LOL Any ideas or educated guess? i have fingers crossed its a SHIMPAKU

Hmm, somewhat coarse growth with juvenile and adult foliage... Maybe Parsons juniper, I don't really know though...

Coach.. i only got it yesterday.. it was really dried out.. i just brought it to work so i could get some good pictures ASAP. instead of waiting till i got home.. :)
i would like it to recover a little more before putting out in the covered porch..

If you keep it inside it will die. My novice guess is procumbens nana. It needs to outside getting sun.
