Hello all!

One of my larches is have a bit of discolouration in a few needles. I'm wondering if anyone can hazard a guess as to what would cause this pattern of die back on a needle.

I should also mention that this is an American larch. Thanks in advance!

It looks a bit like Dothistroma(AKA Redband Needle blight) But impossible to diagnose from just 1 needle!
If you can post a few more photos of the affected branches and foliage it would be helpful !

Sorry for delay I live in a different time zone here !
Hmm I cant see a real problem here .Overall it looks healthy! If in doubt suggest you pick off any discoloured needles.

Picture 20190715_172746.jpg shows possible sunburn on the needles.

Did the tree dry out on a day that it received full sun?

Thanks for the help! I have noticed its continuing to discolour slowly, so I'm a bit worried. I picked up a copper fungicide today to spray it down. Another community suggested it was brown needle blight.

Thanks for the input! Unfortunately I haven't let them dry out. Tamarack live in boggy conditions so I've always kept them on the wetter side.
