Help identify my bonsai

I have had this bonsai for a couple of weeks. Can anyone help me identify what is it?

It could be paulownia tomentosa. But I'm clueless to be honest.. I never got those past the seedling stage so I dont know how adult foliage should look.

looks like a Red Bud - here is a image of Eastern Red Bud leaves and flower

but after a harder look your leaf stems look to be pretty thick so it could be paulownia tomentosa like posted above. the leaves get gigantic on those and they have thicker green stems on the leaves

As seen in theone420’s post and here...Redbud typically have slightly acuminate apicies, not sure this tree has this. @Brian Van Fleet, is why you’re thinking not?

The bark and branch texture don’t look right. They look too plump, more tropical. Seems the OP has some type of palm or bird of paradise in the background too, and I don’t think the two species are found in many of the same places.

Whatever it is those are some extra large leaves for a foemina.
Do you think they'll reduce some?
