Help identify trees

Hello everyone! I have two trees, maybe someone knows what are these species?
1) Young shoots are red, with slight pubescence like a felt
2) (Bird cherry?) Shoots slightly pubescent with short hairs

Going to be pretty tough to ID with the photos you've provided. Buds are alternate, so it's not a maple. Give people some help by providing the general location.

Eastern Europe, Russia. The first tree looks like an apple tree, but I'm not sure.
