Hello, I bought some seeds from a seller I found on Ebay which they told me were of Siberian crabapple (Malus baccata). Probably not the best choice for my climate but the tree seemed interesting for bonsai so I bought them. Now they already have some leaves but they do not look like those in the pictures on google. The seeds did look like those of apples.

The leaves are cute nonetheless. I'll do something with the trees.

Looks like a crabapple to me. Apple leaves can vary a lot, even on the same tree.

Looks like Malus sargentii. If so you are in luck as it's one of the best for bonsai.

Just got some of these seeds, and am in the process of stratification.
I’m wondering how yours are looking. Hopefully still alive!?😊
