I’m pretty sure I got a (Siberian Elm larger woody plant) and a Chinese Elm but I just want verification to make sure on the small one isn’t something else.

(Story ahead not really relevant to post, but thought I’d share incase your thinking, “why these!”)

So I decided to start bonsai-ing last year because of these weed-trees, tbh I never thought very highly of these Elms, but anyhow last year when I had a tiny pot just sitting there empty and I had a bunch of these suckers invading my yard something clicked… I had always been interested in bonsai ever since watching The Karate Kid but didn’t know how or even where to start and I know these things are super hard to kill from past experience. And I also have internet now. I now think these elms make lovely bonsai’s but they are still the last thing I’d ever plant as a shade-tree.
