I came back from vacation and saw that my Fukien now has exposed roots. I’m a newbie to this and have no clue what I need to do. Do I need to put in a bigger pot or cut back the roots? Please guide me on my next steps. Thank you so much!

Those roots are likely dried out and dead, but don't worry, there are plenty more in the pot keeping the tree alive. Next month when the tree is growing at it's peak, is the best time to do root work on tropical trees...

Thank you so much for answering! So should I just let it remain as is until next month and just maybe cover the exposed roots with fresh soil until it’s time for root work?

I wouldn't really worry about it too much, and adding a bit of soil on top won't hurt anything. For the health of the tree, I wouldn't do any root work until it needs to be re-potted...
