Hello all,
To my horror, a new Trident Maple I recently acquired is showing white specks on all its new leaves. It resembles salt crystal-like dots, cant seem to "brush" much (if any) of it off with my finger, though it was blistering hot so I didn't spend much time trying to.
Any idea how I can treat it? I've been trying my best to hose down the leaves whenever I am watering

Attaching some extra photos, hoping it can help the wise ones with diagnosing my situation.
Tree appears to my beginner eyes as otherwise healthy, lot of new growth though some older existing leaves are misshaped or a bit scorched when I had bought it.
