Help Tree Identification

Picked up from a local nursery, the lady didn’t know the tree species. Some investigation leads me to a Surinam Cherry or Pomegranate. Ideas anyone ?

I think you are right about it being a Pomegranate.

Cherry will have two glands at the base of the leaf, your tree lacks this.
