Not many clues in those photos but opposite leaf, bark, new growth size and shape along with a couple of possible suckers remind me of Forsythia. Need to wait until next spring to confirm or deny that ID

My brother who is a landscaper at times lol, told me it was a pieris. Its just the branches are very flexible . O well mystery surprise in the spring If she survives the winter.
