Hello,

I have had this little guy for around three weeks. It is my first tree, so I'm not sure what's going on.

I have been watering every other day until it starts to drip from the bottom of the container, and misting every day.

I havent fed it since purchasing. It is kept outside, at first it was getting full sun, now morning sun, afternoon shade.

We live in central pa.

I have noticed some of the ends of the branches are turning a very light color and getting almost stringy. Seems to have started a few days ago. Sorry the pics aren't better. Also some of the lower branches are turning a brighter green than before.

Thanks everyone in advance.

Mike

Hi Mike, glad you found this great forum.

Could you get a few better pics? I'm on a tablet and I can't see much.

Was it nursery stock that you cut down? A tree you dug? Purchased as bonsai material? How big? What soil?

Folks here love to help, hope you Vulcan get better pics.

Your picture is pretty dark (e.a. no sun), was it dry or wet before watering it "every day extensively". You can also kill a tree with too much water. Better pics will help alot (also make picutres of the soil and put your location/climatezone in ur profile.).
