Help with Tree Identification?

Yep, I did the thing.
I dug/collected trees before I knew the species.
My apologies.

However, my local tree guy wasn't sure on the species. And so I figured here was a great place to ask, with all you knowledgeable tree people about. There are 3 or 4 mature trees on the property. Which have a roughish bark similar to elm, and it propagates like crazy. It has round berries with cherry-like pits, that are reddish in color. It has a very distinct sharp, almost acrid scent when the branches or leaves are broken.

Sorry phone acting up, my guess maybe hackberry?

I was at a park yesterday where I saw something similar, white flowers, elm like leaves.....

The "dupage river watershed display", read Hackberry, so I though "maybe"!?

It was beautiful.
