Need to identify this plant it was given to me and it needs lots of attention and I don't know where to start.

Thanks

This was so quick and its just what I needed and knowing it is easy to care for is even better. When is the best time to prune and repot the adenium obesum, also the soil mixture should not be regular potting soil should it please give suggestion.

I would let it get healthier - new foliage - before pruning anything. It obviously isn't too happy at the moment. Repotting certainly may help. Are you keeping it outside in the sun?

Let it get healthy, but watch your watering, I suspect that may be why the leaf drop, I believe you need to let thses go almost dry, then water again, but check the care info given above.
