Went out on the ATVs last week and ended up higher up then normal. Took a lot of pics, thought you might like to see.

The tall skinny trees are alpine firs. They have really pretty short needles.

The satellite array is a TV broadcast location.

Next to last pic has field of great looking possible Yamadori:eek:. Chance you can collect there? Much concurrence with wonderful scenery.

Mountains are awesome! Being able to get outdoors and enjoy the mountains first hand is even more awesome. ATVs were made for this fun.

I'd like to find a source for crushed Idaho volcanic soil....to use for bonsai. That soil is used, I think, on a lot of the potato farms and in landscapes....and is fabulous for growing. I'm only a little familiar with that soil from around the Twin Falls area so I don't know how far the soil extends around Idaho. The horticulturalist I talked to in Twin Falls had excellent things to say about their soil structure.
