Imperial Masterpiece
This is a larger Hiroshige that has a lot going on in it. This is the thing that fascinates me most about his work. You have monks praying, cats playing and horses naying. This print was originally produced in the mid 1800s but this is a mid 20thc imprint. Colors are excellent with no fading. Excellent bleed through. Some slight ripples in paper are part of the printing process. Image size is 13-5/8 x 8-5/8 inches.
