Hollywood Juniper Stock

I have this torulosa (hollywood) juniper sitting in the nursery pot for a while now. Any chance of using this as a Bonsai stock material?

There are generally more preferred species of juniper to work with, but folks do use this variety. Search user sawgrass as I believe he has more than a few examples here on Bnut. Yours looks usable for sure.

Probly not the best option......
But can't say it's NOT there.

It's hard to see if you have any foilage close to those trunk beginnings.....

I think they have potential because they grow so fast down here. A long term approach is to develop a good trunk line quickly, then ultimately replace the foliage with something finer like Kishu.
