Found these poor fukiens in Canadian tire on a bottom shelf no water and no light.. asked them to give me a deal so I can try and save them ..got them for 5 bucks a piece .. gonna do a soak when i get home and put them over a humidity tray and put them in a semi shaded spot on my south facing window. Wish me luck they are one of my favorite o bonsais ..I know they are difficult to keep.. I feel so bad for plants when I see shit like this. ..hell i talk to my plants lol they are still a living breathing thing that deserve love and attention.

I've seen other people say they are difficult to keep.
Mine grows like a weed.

Good luck with those.

No moss, `1 month of learning to water.
Then 1/3 strength fertiliser ---- once a week.
Rest from Christmas to February.
Temp range is 90 to 70 - 75 deg.F

Remeber @MattE ,

this a zone 9 in the ground in China,

Tropics here - so at Christmas our temperatures drop
to 70's at night and the high 80;s by day.
The 70's last for about 10 hrs.
No growth will take place.

No fertiliser during rest.
The shrub only needs 1/3 strength fertiliser - around 6 N to 8 N.
See the NPK for oil seed meal.
Good Day
Anthony

* Oh during recovery - no need to fertilse
Just learn how to keep it happy.
