Adding these two brats to my NonIdeal thread..

A coleus.. because I LOVE the “bark”.. and have seen DECENT (not fantastic) examples of using them for TinyTree stuff.

..and the SECOND brat is this potentilla... I know you’re thinking, “Oh, Potentilla.. cool”...

But no... NOT one of the “cool” ones.. but I like it.

It’s a Mock-Strawberry..

Sweet Cherry- Given some direction.. (with recycled wire.. don’t judge! 🤣) I like the “feel” of that second trunk.. and the associated branching, I feel, will work well with the angle of the larger trunk.F1D2D38E-4D39-47B5-89C5-A34F4498BB57.jpeg0072EA2A-2D51-4B4A-BEAE-7C850F2BCB07.jpeg

By the time I REALIZED that it was Gypsy Moth-a-pillars eating the HELL out of “select” foliage in my garden... they are gone...

I NEVER saw the caterpillars.. JUST the moths.. and I’m with my plants for a HUGE chunk of each day..

....th’bastards!

So many non-existing trees in this thread... Due to NON-recovery after collection.. and rabbit attacks.

But the Nightshade, Fraxinus, and Prunus Avium are still ...alive.

And I will be adding a new specimen.
