When I saw this "floating" stand, I could quickly understand the trick:

But, in this other case I am clueless. I can see a "stone" under the bonsai, that must be the load that let the tree "float", but how did they do it?

I'm guessing the support is behind the black backdrop. Hole in the cloth for a rod or something?

A few years ago, there was an outfit selling a magnetic system where you could "levitate"
small less than 10 cm pots over a stand that would float and rotate the pot above the stand.

Monofilament line could be suspending the planting from above.

honestly, there's a number of possible tricks
