@Ingvill ,

every tie we get something new we have to test.
First is HEAlTH.
Later comes Design.
So to help you not become depressed as you learn.
This is a Clerodendron [ or Clerodendrum ? }

From our sister isle - Barbados, where it grows wild.

From a cutting.

Soil is silica based gravel / compost / crushed red earthenware brick.
Tree is thirsty, so 3.5 gravel, 3.5 brick and 3 compost.
The brick holds extra water in itself.

See you in 5 years.
There are also 3 others being tested.
Enjoy
Anthony

Please note we have little bug that loves the leaves and the tree self
defoliates.
Bug comes when the shrub wilts.
The bug does not like thyme.

Stage one - How healthy can I make you and how many branchlets
can you grow - Time taken - about 5 years

Stage 2 - Design - making use of foliage mass, and the empty spaces

Shifted back of tree to become the front

@Nicholas Box ,

thank you. If not for the bug hitting the leaves,
I would have been happy to show you canopy today.
Good Day
Anthony
That's ok. I'll keep an eye out for a time when you can show its progress. Its a tree I cannot grow here(without an indoor setup), but I really like it.

Thank you for sharing. :)
